By completing this order on our webpage, you are buying the selected number of tickets to attend our related Basware Push.Play.Connect. Berlin 2020 event as a delegate, as further described on our related Connect 2020 webpage, and in accordance with the present terms and conditions.
Basware reserves the right to alter the event programme without prior notice.
Cancellation of event
In the unlikely event that Basware has to cancel an event, we will refund any pre-paid registration fees. Basware shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual delegates.
Cancellation of attendance at an event
If you are unable to attend an event and need to cancel a booking, please let us know in advance and in writing by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
You will however not be reimbursed any fee you might already have paid us for the event you cancel.
The standard payment method is through
- credit card– secure online payment via EventBrite
However, if you would like us to send you an invoice, please contact us at email@example.com You are requested to pay our invoice upon receipt through bank transfer or as per the payment terms in your existing contract with Basware if applicable.
The personal data you add to our event registration form (mostly name, business function, gender, business address, telephone number, email address) or that we otherwise collect about you in relation to the event will be held by Basware Corporation [Linnoitustie 2, 02601 Espoo, Finland]. For the purposes of the applicable data protection legislation, Basware is the controller and any Basware subcontractor supporting the organisation of our event and accessing your personal data for that purpose, are processors of your personal data.
We process the personal data we collect about you through your event registration or during the event for the administration and organisation of the event and the follow-up on your attendance at the event, and, to the extent applicable, to send you future information via email about Basware, our services and invitations to our events and webinars. We may also include your contact data in the event attendees list for internal delegates.
It’s our legitimate interest to process your personal data for these business purposes. In some situations, we might request your consent for the processing of your personal data for specific purposes, whereby you may withdraw your consent at any time.
Registrations for our events are managed using a system operated by our subcontractor Some Bright Spark under contract to us. Data, including personal data, will be processed and stored on systems managed by Basware and Some Bright Spark. This data can only be accessed by authorised members of Basware staff, and for the purposes of maintaining and supporting the system, by members of staff at Some Bright Spark.
For the organisation of the event, Basware is also supported by its affiliated companies acting as processors of your personal data under the responsibility of Basware. Where Basware contracts with additional third-party subcontractors to support our event, we may also provide them with access to this data in order for them to fulfil their services to us. Upon your request, we will let you know who our related subcontractors are.
The information you submit will not be kept for any longer than is needed. The length of time will depend upon whether Basware has a business need for keeping the information and/or if the law requires that we keep the information for a particular length of time.
The information will be kept in a secure office environment. We implement and maintain reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data.
By law you have certain rights over your personal data that we hold: e.g. to receive a copy of the data, to ask us to correct any errors, or to delete it once we no longer need it. We may request additional information necessary to confirm your identity.
In case you consider any processing of your personal data to be inconsistent with applicable data protection legislation, a complaint may be lodged with the local supervisory authority for data protection.

Conditions of attendance
You must comply with instructions and directions given by staff, stewards and agents of the venue and Basware and any applicable policies and procedures of which you are notified.
To the extent WiFi is made available to you at the venue, either by Basware [company name] or the venue, access will be subject to the relevant conditions of access/acceptable use policy.
You are responsible for settling your own accounts for drinks, room service and any additional hotel charges when on site during the event.
We reserve the right to refuse access to, or remove any delegate from any Basware event who, in our reasonable opinion has, or is likely to affect the enjoyment of the other delegates, in our reasonable opinion is acting under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or who behaves in a manner which may cause a breach of the peace.
During this event we may do one or all of the following:
- take general photographs,
- record all audio output from the event,
- video record the event proceedings, and
- live stream selected event proceedings,
on which you might be identifiable.
Any subsequent photographs or recordings may be used in future Basware publicity materials only. All video and audio recordings and photographs will remain the property of Basware. By submitting this registration form you are agreeing to the photographing and/or recording and/or filming of the proceedings, as described above, being made for future dissemination by Basware and third parties with whom it works in partnership, for non-commercial purpose.
If you wish NOT to be photographed or video recorded, please let the organisers know on arrival.
Limitation of liability
Personal arrangements including travel, accommodation or hospitality relating to any Basware event which have been arranged by you are at your own risk.
Neither Basware nor the venue will be responsible for any loss, theft or damage to you or your personal belongings, other than caused as a result of our gross negligence or that of the venue. Any such liability that arises shall be limited to a sum equal to the total amount paid by you to Basware.
You will be responsible for paying for any damage which you cause to Basware and/or property at the venue including the cost of additional cleaning where charged by the venue.
Nothing in these terms and conditions will operate to limit or exclude liability of each party for death or personal injury arising out of its negligence, or for its fraud nor any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Subject to the paragraph above, in no circumstances will either party be liable to the other party for any loss of business, revenue, profits, anticipated savings or goodwill (whether direct or indirect) or for any indirect, special or consequential loss, arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions and the event.
Health and safety
You must comply with all relevant legislation relating to health and safety and with any safety announcements and venue regulations of which you are made aware whilst attending any Basware event.
Equality and diversity statement
Basware endeavours to arrange events in fully accessible locations. However, we would appreciate your co-operation in meeting specific requirements and ask that you inform us immediately if you require additional facilities (for example a loop system, sign language interpretation) or any other personal requirements.
We may need to pass on information to a third party about your support requirements. If we are not able to reveal these details this may affect the accessibility arrangements we are able to provide. By submitting this registration form you agree to your support requirements being passed on to relevant third parties.
For the purposes of these terms and conditions, "force majeure" means any cause beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, war, acts of terrorism, governmental requirements, acts of local or central government or other competent authorities, acts of God and industrial disputes.
We will not be liable to you for failure to perform any obligation under these terms and conditions or in relation to your booking to the extent that the failure is caused by force majeure.
